Thomas Henry Fryer was born in Seattle, Washington. He graduated from Western Washington University in 1989 and Gonzaga University School of Law in 1993. Tom Specializes in criminal defense and personal injury claims.
Tom has been practicing law in Bellingham for the past eighteen years during which time he has represented hundreds of persons accused of crimes in Municipal, State and Federal Courts. He has successfully handled many complex criminal cases, including a federal trial for a client accused of importing the largest quantity of marijuana in the history of the US-Canadian border, which resulted in a favorable outcome for the client. He has also obtained acquittals for clients accused of homicide, sex offenses and “third strike” cases as well as accusations of driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI, DWI) and other misdemeanor crimes. As a result of Tom’s broad experience, talent and standing in the legal community he has been a criminal law lecturer for continuing legal education courses for Washington state attorneys.
Tom also represents injured persons seeking compensation at trial, arbitration and mediation. He is a past president of the Whatcom County Bar Association, a member of the Federal Bar Association of the U.S. District Court, the Washington State Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and the Washington State Bar Association. He lives with his wife and son in Bellingham. He is as avid cyclist and skier.
